According to the successful business coach, financial expert and author Michelle Jacobik, there are five things that you should keep in mind before you begin a business.

Always begin with having a plan laid out. Having passion and no plan is a recipe for disaster
Secondly, always have a clear roadmap, with your eyes on the prize. Do not avoid looking at the money and planning things with optimism. Positivity is a great trait but one must always be wary and vigilant of potential problems when starting a business.

Thirdly, have a clear vision of how you want your life to be. Be exactly sure of how you want your personal life, lifestyle and career to go. Know what you can’t compromise on and work with a clear head.
There is no point in avoiding your problems, as they won’t go away, but come back stronger. Nip your issues in the bud as you spot them.

Lastly, do not underestimate the power of the company you keep around. A tribe full of positivity will take you places.
On the topic of philanthropy, she had a lot to say. According to Michelle, donating our time and talents are some of the best ways you can uplift others. When you reach out to the underprivileged as a leader, you become more aware of grassroot level issues and can adapt your business to solve these problems. It also humbles you as you realize what little you know about the people around you.
Donate money, utilize your time and exploit your social status to help out the marginalized in every way you can. Helping others is bigger than a person ; jt builds communities and initiates cycles of goodness which can reach people and places unimaginable.
In her book, the Path to Profit, Michelle reveals a number of profitable ideas and business ideals. She is a staunch supporter of the notion that businesses should be built to be profitable in support of lives, and not at the expense of our lives.
